Job Summary / Objective
Our company is currently seeking an experienced Senior Global Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, as well as extensive experience in agile software development management, and industrial application. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work remotely and can be based in the UK, US, or France.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities
Manage all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed within the allocated time and budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Define, track, and report on project metrics to senior management.
Analyze and recommend solutions to technical problems and challenges.
Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Manage stakeholders and communicate project status and progress to all levels.
Identify and escalate risks and issues and implement mitigation plans.
Coach and mentor project team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
Work with the Fives HPM global innovation teams to contribute to the Digital Roadmap, showing opportunities for collaboration. Set priorities and schedule for development and deployment in line with business goals.
Assess current range of software products and development capabilities within Fives HPM global businesses and recommend best long=term strategy to meet Roadmap goals.
Develop and establish processes, methodologies, and quality standards to be followed by distinct development teams across multiple global sites. This will include software language and architectural principles together with consistent cyber-security and licensing solutions.
Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with established practices.
Develop / maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
Provides input to product feature enhancements and process improvements.
Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical stakeholders
Provides engineering support and mentorship

Education, Training and Experience
 

§  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

§  10+ years of experience in software development and/or management.

§  Extensive experience in agile software development management.

§  Experience in industrial software applications (embedded systems) and high level software languages (OOP, e.g. Java, C#)

§  Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

§  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

§  Ability to work independently and remotely.

§  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

§  Awareness / knowledge of cyber-security and data-management legislation and compliance methods in the US, Europe and China

Knowledge of CNC machine technology and applications
Application programming experience (G-code, Fanuc, Siemens or other machine controllers)
Good understanding of control systems
Pro-active approach
§  Must be fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

Previous experience in a industrial software development
Basic knowledge of machine tools and their industrial uses
Experience with automation and its integration with machine tools
Experience in cloud application development and data science
Customer Service or Sales Support experience.
§  Proficient in Microsoft Office

§  Experience interfacing with SAP, SalesForce and other typical business

§  Fluency in French would be advantageous
